This is at the core of activities for Lumotz Global Sports within Africa. With a bigger population than any other
continent and a significant deficiency in education, skills training and job acquisition. The continent’s youth
population stand the risk of failing to fulfil their full potential and be prosperous. Efforts are on hand to provide
adequate training and empowerment to expose these at-risk populations to academic opportunities, as well as
training and development in various talent disciplines, in order to harness individual potentials as a sustainable way
to ensure economic and social transformation.
Over the years in Nigeria, the failing state of the education system has never been more pronounced, coupled with
unemployment hitting unprecedented levels. Chances of the average graduate is growing fewer with every passing
year, not to mentioned those who do not have the opportunity to become graduates. Companies now prefer
international graduates compared to indigenous ones. Also, as the economy collapses, most of our youth are seeking
avenues to exit the country for greener pastures.
